Our most popular plan for weight loss is the 1,200-calorie-a-day plan. Depending on your lifestyle, weight loss may also be possible with the 1,500- or 2,000-calorie plans.
Calories are units of energy that make up the foods we eat. To lose weight, you need to eat less calories than you burn. In other words, you need to be in a calorie deficit. But how do we know how many calories we use in a day in order to determine what level of caloric intake we need so that we end the day with a deficit?
Use our Help Me Find a Plan Tool. This tool will help to figure out your calorie needs for weight loss. Our interactive calculator considers your age, gender, height, current and target weights, and activity level to come up with your individualized daily calorie needs.
Once that number is determined, the tool will suggest which plan from Healthy For Life Meals is right for you: 1200, 1500, or 2000 calories per day. It’s as easy as that!
We're also happy to chat with you to help you decide. In addition, we recommend you consult with your health care provider regarding specific health concerns.
